We LOVE this place. Mike and Rosey are honest and they are no nonsense. We took our car to a dealer and they told us it would cost a fortune o fix, A&A ran a diagnostic and said go see Victory in Petaluma and we did and lo and behold the car was covered by an extended warrantee. A&A went the distance for us and they could have said they would fix it, they are smart and loyal. Please utilize their services, right on Gate 5 Road. Susan and Thomas

My car broke down on the road near Sausalito - found this place through Yelp - all the 5-star reviews are true. Mike and the crew let me keep my car there while I decided what to do. They called the rental car co. for me, and charged me nothing for calling around about rebuilt engines for it. Go there - you won't be sorry. Super nice, honest people.

I brought my 2000 VW here for service when it started making a terrible noise. Just a month prior, I spent $900 over at Marin Auto Science to get my car into good working condition, so I was pretty alarmed. Mike called me and told me that he would do the repairs, but that I should also consider getting a new car if I wasn't attached to my car. He explained that it would probably be about $2,000 to address what needed to be fixed now, but that there were some leaks that would have to be repaired in the future. The total repairs would exceed the car's worth. He was very thorough in his explanation and took time to answer many questions. I was impressed that he wasn't just trying to get $2,000 of work out of my older car. I did end up buying a new car and now I take my new one there. I wish I had come to A&A Auto before I went to Marin Auto Science- I probably would have ended up with the same outcome and saved myself $900.

Mike and his team are professional AND compassionate. I will never forget the gentle kindness they showed me when my repair bill exceeded my budget. My car ran like a top afterwards ( drove to and from the east coast!) . I recommend them to all my friends.

These people are GREAT! Been taking my Volvo here for a while now. When I first brought in my car was in need of lots of TLC. Mike was awesome he laid out a list for me of what needed to be done by priority, he did not try and get me to fix everything at once. I never feel like I can not trust them, unlike a few places in Marin I have taken my older Volvo. Rosie at the front desk is also wonderful and very helpful!

The entire staff at A&A are top notch! The customer service is what you would expect at a premium car dealership, but without the inflated prices and questionable ethics of a car dealership. Mike and Rosie handled our car dilemmas with efficiency. They even offered a cost savings option which was rare and most appreciated. We will return here for future auto service as well as refer friends here.

These guys are amazing, fast, considerate, honest and easy to work with. They are comparable in price with other Marin mechanics and until any of these things change, I'll be bringing it to them every time. They treat my 93 Cherokee like a champ and keep it running great.

I'm going to try to give Mike the highest praise. The way I was raised, people help people, with respect to professional norms and requirements. Mechanics, as a breed, seem not to live like this. Mike does. I went in there, sight unseen voice unheard, and asked him for his help, and he politely went out of his way to take care of my car. It was a petty amount of money, a trivial amount of work, but it was important to me at the time, and he treated me like a person, a customer, who was important to him at the time. I can't wait to bring all my car troubles to Mike.

These guys have always been excellent and reasonable compared to a dealer. My sister was the first to use them and then I followed suit. Nice they are in Sausalito where I live. I would highly recommend them.

Mike recommended we sell our 15 year old Explorer because a number of expensive systems were approaching the end of their lifespan. I thought this was particularly honest and generous advice considering I would have done that expensive work at his shop. This advice may have cost Mike a couple of repairs, but it made me a customer for life.
