I've had my 20-year-old Celica convertible serviced several times at A & A and find them to be courteous, fair and helpful. The owner, Mike, is a total sweetheart and his dog Sydney adds a great warmth to the experience. If you're looking for an honest local mechanic, give him a call and tell him Dana sent you.

My daughter was staying in Sausalito for a week. She called me and said her car was making a squeeking, and metal on metal grinding sounds. I called A & A Auto because they were within walking distance of the houseboat she was on, and they had gotten a thumbs up elsewhere on the web. John took care of her and the repair came out to be $300 less than the estimate. The car is now fine and she has put many miles on it. I was very pleased.

Could be the nicest, most honest and skilled mechanics I've ever met. Al is a master of all vintage American and many Euro cars. The collective wisdom of all the nice folks in this shop get my vote!

Sydney greets you when you pull up. Although she may really just want to know if you have a dog biscuit, a pat on the head may suffice.I have been getting my car serviced with Mike and his crew for a couple of years now. Although I do not like my car (no longer driving the Honda, but will again one day) I have to admit, he has been able to keep it running and extending its life.
