I've used A&A Automotive for over 10 years now and the service has been outstanding, pricing fair and they stand by their work. Sausalito is most fortunate to have such a great auto repair in our town!

Besides hearing someone berate an employee, "I was fixing cars before you were born." I was quoted 4X the cost for a head gasket job. I can understand not having the expertise or time to do a job but I think it's bad form to tell a customer it's going to cost 4k for a 1k job. As a retired mechanic, I wouldn't recommend this shop. I asked if he was going to install golden valves but that didn't help my mother get her car back on the road. Hard pass.
